TWISTER
Twister (2001) was ITV's follow-up to their popular Fun House series, but with a new host (Nigel Mitchell). The format was similar to its predecessor, but with a few changes. Although the show retained messy games (played sans commentary), a go-cart race, and a run-around to rack up prizes, it lacked the humorous puns, and comedic banter found in Fun House. The aggressive heavy metal-inspired theme song also set a very different tone for Twister. Played in a minor key, the highly chromatic music wasn't very easy to hum, and by extension was not as memorable.
Despite a massive budget, which allowed for a huge studio set replete with pyro-technics, Twister lacked the charm of Fun House, and only lasted a single season.
